Pipe Force is a spinout from the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Institute, a technological powerhouse. We focus on transforming underground infrastructure inspection through technology, partnerships, and a customer-driven business model. Our core innovation is a Multi-Sensor Inspection (MSI) technology that integrates advanced sensing methods—including laser profilometry, inertial navigation, and high-resolution imaging—with advanced data analytics to deliver unprecedented accuracy for in-pipe inspection.
The Pipe Force approach allows operators to capture complete datasets in a single pass of the pipe, complemented by flexibility in purchasing the data. Before or after one pass of the pipe and review of standard PACP reports, customers choose where along the pipe and when they would like to have additional advanced inspection information—with no further deployments. The data is always at the customers’ fingertips.
